The Workshop

Our large workshop has been designed and equipped to enable the production of Nathan Levick kitchens from start to finish using only solid timber.

We take delivery of sawn planks which are planed, sanded and jointed by hand in order to produce our  award winning cabinets.

Traditionally made kitchens require traditional methods for preparing and shaping timber. We favour original, heavy, cast iron machinery which can cope with the demands of solid timber construction. Of course, using traditional methods requires a skilled labour force and we acknowledge that the best way to achieve outstanding results when working with timber is to have patience and to use our hands.

Our painted kitchens are all finished and painted by hand. Interior surfaces are stained and varnished to give a beautiful, natural and wipable surface. Exterior surfaces are brush painted with at least five coats to ensure a durable, smooth and lustrous surface.
