Split Level Cottage Kitchen
An unusual kitchen in a grade 2 listed cottage designed specifically to bridge two levels and the gap between a small old kitchen and a new extension providing an open plan living space. Clever curved cabinets increase working space whilst providing a gentle guide from cooking area to preparation area to tea and coffee area. Cabinets double as bin housing and TV cabinet, pan storage and open display case depending from which side they are viewed. Farrow and Ball Old White provides a subtle tone to the cabinets which are topped with beautifully textured Satino Bassalt. Making full use of all available nooks and crannies a large Liebherr fridge is housed in a central position with wine storage above. Perrin and Rowe taps feature on the sinks by Villeroy and Boch. Armac Martin knobs and pulls in antiqued brass provide an authentic period detail.
