Open Plan Kitchen with Large Island
Green oak buildings provide a perfect backdrop for our kitchens and this extension to a beautiful country home fits the bill perfectly.
A large open area required a large island, painted in Farrow & Ball Railings.
A special slab of stunning Pana Fragola granite was selected by the clients and cut to fit on top. Providing pan drawers, cupboard space, a bookcase and a place to sit the island is a prolific addition to the space.
The perimeter cabinets are painted in Farrow & Ball Bone, reflecting the stone floor slabs and other elements within the build. Textured Bassalt work tops add even more tactile texture to the kitchen and provide a dramatic contrast to the island work top.
A pewter AGA TC5 and companion sit within a dramatic alcove finished with the fine texture of Marlborough Tiles.
We made a dresser to house a day fridge and to provide display cupboards in the top section.
An integrated larder fridge and a larder cupboard complete the storage requirement and Perrin & Rowe, of course, provide the beautiful pewter tap.
