Nathan Levick Kitchen Sofas capture the enduring spirit of traditional Scandinavian “Kökken Sofas“. Originally used as seating in the eating area near a kitchen range, Kökken Sofas could be converted into beds, usually for children providing a cosy place to sleep near the warmth of a wood burning kitchen stove in the harsh northern climate.

Designed and hand crafted in East Sussex by Nathan Levick, our kitchen sofas are made using only solid timber and each one is individually hand painted in the colour of your choice.

Nathan Levick kitchen sofas are equally at home providing comfortable seating as part of a dining area or somewhere to relax in an open plan living area or somewhere to perch whilst pulling on boots.

Whilst maintaining the clean lines and purity of design demonstrated by its forbears, our modern kitchen sofa provides the extra benefit of a large and useful storage box beneath the clever lifting seat.
